Description
FP-2260 Friction/Peel tester
Coefficient of friction tester (COF)
A lightweight design for laboratory or production floor
The Thwing-Albert FP-2260 Friction/Peel Tester is a versatile testing instrument for measuring the coefficient of friction, peel strength, seal strength and tensile strength of flexible plastic films, paper, labels, tapes, nonwovens, textiles and other sheet materials. It was designed to provide flexibility for its users so it is useful in many different industries such as the paper, plastic, adhesives, textile, flexible packaging, foils, coatings, leather and paperboard industries, as well as others.
Product details
Thwing-Albert’s FP-2260 COF Tester (Coefficient of Friction Tester) / Peel Tester provides more information with less keystrokes and offers capability to run the machine in five languages. It also provides the ability to create, save, and password protect test set ups. The COF test mode can be configured to measure the static and kinetic coefficient of friction as well as slide angle.
The Peel Tester mode can test the seal strength, and peel properties of plastic film, paper, paperboard, adhesives, corrugated/cardboard, labels and packaging materials. The Peel Tester can be configured to perform 180° peel tests, 90° peel tests, and T-peel tests. The Tensile Tester mode can be configured to perform lightweight tensile tests up to 10 kg (22 lbf).
