The Tinius Olsen L Series Package, Universal Tensile Tester
Measure tension, compression, flexure and shear with the latest technology
The L Series instruments are available in fram capacities of 1kN, 5kN, 10kN,
25kN and 50kN. They are also combined with a variety of grips and fixtures,
extensometers and software to provide standard testing systems for a variety
of applications.
Robust construction of the loadframes comprising oil soaked precision
leadscrews, high precision ball race bearings, high grade material for
crossheads and current electronics combined with TO’s years of experience
in machine construction results in these superior testing devices.
Package includes:
- Model H5kL, 5kN Universal Testing Machine
- 5kN replaceable load cell
- 100N replaceable load cell
- HT45 pneumatic operated grip with 25x25mm rubber coated jaw faces &
25 x 75 mm rubber coated jaw faces - HT401 safety grip controller
- Footswitch
- Horizon testing software
- Textile library with 500+ pre-programmed standards

Accessories and Options
- Grips and fixtures can be easily mounted securely with a simple
locking pin, which also allows simple and rapid changes - Precision extensometers and deflectometers are available
using encoder, strain gauge and/or LVDT technologies - Tinius Olsen’s Horizon software can be connected to the tester by the operator
