Cromocol has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Paper Test Equipment Sweden AB, Sweden’s leading player in test equipment for paper, pulp & packaging. The company is located in Norrköping and since its inception in 1995 has supplied world-leading test equipment and a high level of service to Nordic paper, pulp & packaging companies. Among the customers are most of the leading companies in the area.

– Through the acquisition of PTE, we gain a completely new area within paper, pulp & packaging. An exciting area where we see great opportunities to continue developing the business with our customers’ sustainability thinking.

The acquisition of PTE is part of our larger vision to build a leading industrial group in material testing and quality control. The market for test equipment is fragmented and there are good opportunities to take greater responsibility for the customers’ quality, both in terms of the equipment itself and by adding additional knowledge.
